Mitsubishi Evo 6 Tommi Makinen Edition!

During a recent cars and coffee (check last post) I spotted a very rare, real deal Evo 6. It's not just any type of Evo 6, it happened to be the Tommi Makinen Edition! Only 2,500 were built in honor of Tommi Makinen 4 World Rally Championships. You had the options between 5 colors: Pyrenees Black Pearl, Scotia White, Canal Blue, Satellite Silver or by far the most popular paint finish – Passion Red. Mitsubishi wasn't playing games when they designed this edition of the Evo 6, every aspect of this car was performance oriented. It had a baffled fuel tank to prevent fuel surge under high G-forces, bigger exhaust, a more aggressive suspension, functional ducts on the bumper to help provide cool air to intercooler, brakes, intake, among many other performance goodies.

It was absolutely awesome to finally see one in person. This particular one is owned by Moe Kahn, which is the owner of @petrolwerks. A premier automotive performance shop, located in Long Island, NY. Well enough yapping, enjoy the pictures!
